The race was really hot (not only the temperature!).I did the B race, i managed the first climb ok and the twisty stuff ok without destroying a wheel or forks or anything on the abismal road surface... but i got punted near the top of the second climb.. it was like the small climb at the thursday night Deeside/Granite City chaingang in effort (having attacked, or something...) but only worse... i nearly made it back on the descent but i lost the wheel in front and that was it... i picked up a couple of guys and got picked up but i had absolutely no legs to use the massive climb to my advantage. I finished in a group of 4 god knows how far back.... The crash sufered a week ago today as well as te travelling takes te edge off ones performance.
I finished 47th @ 10-49. 59 were credited as finishing, i think a few called it a day well before the suffering had ended.
